The Garinger Education Foundation, in collaboration with Central Piedmont Community College will offer a chance to earn up to $2000 in incentive grants to members of the Garinger Class of 2018 who complete all the necessary steps to enroll at CPCC for classes for the Fall, 2018 semester. Submit this electronic application and give a copy of your class schedule and a FERPA to Ms. Bell no later than Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

The Garinger Education Foundation will be offering other scholarships also. Listen to the announcements regarding these scholarships. IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO APPLY FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIPS THAT FIT YOUR PLANS.
If you are a band member planning to attend a Historically Black College or University, and have a 2.5 GPA, you will be eligible to apply for the Raheim Brown Sholarship.
If you are planning to attend CPCC and/or UNC-C, and are an outstanding student, you will be eligible to apply for the Drew Hager Memorial Scholarship which is valued at $2500 and is renewable for 4 years, depending on the academic progress of the recipient, for a total of up to $10,000.
We offer several more memorial scholarships valued at $1000 for students planning on attending any post-secondary institution. The Garinger Education Foundation may award additional $500 scholarships to students enrolling at 4 year colleges if funds are available.
Ms. Bell is the contact person for the GEF/CPCC Scholarships.
Ms. Kennedy is the contact person for all other GEF Scholarships.

- take the CPCC placement test
- complete the enrollment process
- register for classes
- submit your FINAL transcript to CPCC
- Attend all classes
