7.Check and pay college fees: Even though the program is tuition-free for the fall and spring semesters, students may be responsible for insurance fees. Check your balance and pay any insurance fees. Contact me immediately if you have questions about fees.
8. Buy your books: Go to class first and confirm the textbook you need. Print your schedule from your My College account and take it to your campus bookstore. You are a SPONSORED student. Say this to bookstore personnel "I am a Career and College Promise sponsored student". You can only get REQUIRED books. You can not get RECOMMENDED books. Do not pay for books. Funds have been allocated for you in this program.
9. Pick up a Parking Permit and get your CPCC Student Identification CardParking permits are required on all CPCC campuses. You can pick up your parking permit at the Cashiering offices on any of our six campuses.
Get your free Student ID card after you register and your fees. It will serve as your library card and may be used in the community for a variety of discounts. You will need to bring a photo ID in order to obtain a student ID card.

Weekly Success Conference: You must check in with me on either Thursday or Friday, in the cafeteria, prior to
leaving campus, to complete your conference and submit the conference form. Conferences will begin the week of
August 29th.

- Keep All Receipts for textbooks.
- Be sure to check your CPCC schedule for any changes, Also, get in the habit of checking your CPCC email everyday. In addition, check your account summary for accident insurance fees. If you have this $1.60 fee, you are required to pay it in the cashier's office.

- CATS Bus Schedule: Consult the CATS Bus Schedule for pick up times and locations -
- CPCC Schedule Changes - Add, Drop, Withdrawals - All CPCC schedule change MUST take place during the week of August 15th - August 19th ONLY. Please contact me BEFORE you make any changes to your CPCC schedule.
- CPCC Grades: Grades are added to the report card at the end of the semester. Log in to MY COLLEGE to view grades.

- SMART Goal Setting (Specific, Measurable, Relevant, and Time-Bound): Be sure to set personal goals for yourself as it relates to your CPCC class(es).
- Students taking classes at Cato - the bus will arrive at 12:30, behind the 300 building and depart for CPCC CATO at 12:45, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning August 15th. If you arrive early, just come to my office and we'll walk to the bus together.
